Tennessee is a fun, down home state, full of music and good times. It can be tough, in a fun place like this, to use your best judgement at times. But it’s important to plan ahead so that you, and those around, you are safe and stay out of jail.

When you’re under the influence, you may tend to think you’re fine to get behind the wheel. Bottom line - you’re not. Unfortunately, decisions made under the influence can have extreme consequences.

Think we’re kidding? Here’s an overview of how stringent Tennessee's DUI penalties are. In Tennessee, it only takes one DUI to revoke your license, land you jail time, and hit you with an expensive fine. Not only are you endangering yourself and others by driving intoxicated, but you are also risking serious legal consequences that will take ample time and money to set straight. Minors (persons under the age of 21) who are charged with possession, selling, or consumption of any alcohol whatsoever will have their licenses immediately suspended for a minimum period of one year or until turning 17, depending on which is longer.

While we have participants taking our programs throughout many counties and cities in the state of Tennessee. Some of the most common areas include: Antioch, Brentwood, Chattanooga, Clarksville, Franklin, Gallatin, Germantown, Hendersonville, Johnson City, Kingsport, Knoxville, Lenoir City, Manchester, Memphis and Nashville.

What to do in Tennessee

There’s no need to be intoxicated to be truly blown away by what to do in Tennessee. Nashville is home to country music, and it seems every inch of the city is abound with live music. Top flight acts play Nashville regularly, and if you’ve got a chance to see one at the legendary Grand Ole Opry, consider yourself lucky. The Grand Ole Opry is possibly the nations’ most legendary music venue and quite a sight to see besides. After taking in a show, swing by the Country Music Hall of Fame or the Johnny Cash museum and let the outlaw in you come out in a safe and responsible manner.

After you’ve experienced enough country music to last a lifetime, there’s plenty more to do in Tennessee. Memphis is home to the Grizzlies, a professional NBA team with a loyal fan base and a loud, now legendary arena. And if you’re an Elvis gal or guy, you’re in luck. The Graceland museum is the mecca for any Elvis Presley fan, with tours taking you through the life and times of the rock and roll icon. With hundreds of state parks, museums, and old mansions, there’s plenty to do in Tennessee that will put a smile on your face.
