SPRINGFIELD, Illinois. state Rep. Ron Stephens, a Metro East-area Republican, pharmacist, and one of the Legislature's most outspoken conservatives, pleaded guilty today to drunk driving, likely increasing the chances that he will lose his state pharmacy license. Similar to celebrities, those in government are not immune to the dangers of alcohol and drugs.
While it is sad to see those in power arrested for some of the very crimes they ban themselves, it makes us all realize how important an online alcohol class is to better educate ourselves. Celebrities and elected officials are almost always put in the spot light when they violate the law for anything. What most don't think about is that they are human and fallible, just like the rest of us. Lets hope a little alcohol awareness training goes a long way.
