The fall semester at Purdue University has brought with it a flood of fake identification cards used by underage people trying to purchase alcohol or get into bars in West Lafayette. Those arrested with the fake ID's will likely have to take Minor in Possession Classes. Fake ID present a huge problem for most college and universites. This is mostly due to the fact that college age students are extremely sophistocated in their ability to create these bogus documents.
Moreover, college students are willing to take more risks, and will attempt to use fake ID's without giving much thought to what the consequences might be. Most students will be required to take either an 8 hour or 16 hour alcohol awareness class if found guilty of possessing a fake ID.
