Alcohol Drug Class is the trusted leading provider of quality alcohol awareness classes, DUI* classes, online drug education and MIP (Minor in Possession) courses in Waterloo Iowa. Our Online Programs are Taken for the following reasons:

  • Alcohol Awareness Classes- Taken commonly for probation, court, employer or simply to better understand alcohol addiction and abuse.
  • DUI/DWI classes*- These classes are most commonly taken for citations related to driving while intoxicated. You may not take this class if you are an Iowa resident who received a DUI in your state. Click here for details. If you live out of state but had a DUI in Iowa, you may be able to take our class for a non OWI requirement (court only) with prior approval.
  • Drug Education Classes- Complete a Court Ordered drug awareness class - requirements for a 8, 10, 12, 16, 24 or longer program
  • MIP, MIC Classes- Minor in possession classes taken for school, court and other legal needs by those under 21.

  • Assessment and Evaluations- The state of Iowa does not allow assessments/evaluations to be completed for anyone who currently resides in Iowa who had an OWI in Iowa. If you need an assessment for an Iowa OWI but live out of state, you may complete this assessment. Please ask us for their out of state provider form."

1.  How much do Waterloo Iowa online alcohol awareness classes, drug education, MIP or DUI* classes cost?

Course prices are low-cost and vary based on the time duration of the class you choose.  If classes are being taken purely for self-growthpurposes, then you should look online at the various course selections to decide where you would like to begin.  The court directs you as to the length you must take to fulfill your judicial sanction.  Our shortest class is an 8 hour (level 1) program and is $175.00, our 16 hour (level 2) class is $275.00 and our 24 Hour (level 3) class is $350.00.  We also have longer drug classes or alcohol classes.  Click on the navigation menu. Keep in mind that by taking classes online, you will also be saving money on gas. We use a special encryption technology so our website is completely secure for you to confidently enter your credit card payment.

2.  Can I use these classes for my legal requirements?

Yes, with court permission.  Our courses are have been designed by Dr. Ari Novick.  Dr. Novick is a licensed, practicing therapist specializing alcohol and drug rehabilitation.  The course content is completely current with all the latest skills to address alcohol and drug rehabilitation today.  Our courses are often used to satisfy legal requirements in Waterloo Iowa, however, we always suggest that you get prior approval from the court system before starting any program.  

3.  How do I prove I’ve taken the class?

All students will receive a Certificate of Completion once the class has been successfully finished.  This diploma is what you will turn in to the courts to prove that you have fulfilled the requirements.  It contains your name, birth date, the length and level of class you took, your case information, address and a verification number.  We will send it to you in the mail upon completion.

4.   How quickly can the classes be finished for Waterloo Iowa

No.   As in all our Waterloo Iowa courses, you can take the comprehensive final exam at the end of the course as many times as you need to until you pass.   A final exam score of 70% or better is necessary to pass the multiple choice test.  Therefore, the student has room to make a few mistakes.
